KQ suspends Paris flights

KENYA Airways is suspending its flight to Paris from February 26, due to sharp declines in bookings on the route, the airline has announced.

Passengers will still be able to catch connecting flights in Europe and fly via London Heathrow or Amstersdam’s Schipol airports.

“We will monitor the situation on a monthly basis and are hopeful we will resume Paris flights for the summer high season once the French government’s travel advisory has been removed,” said Kenya Airways ceo, Titus Naikuni.

Naikuni added that some markets like the UK have only advised against travel to certain areas and as a result, Kenya has sustained a flow of tourists from these markets to Nairobi and Mombasa.
