Luxury tented camp reopens in Kenya

Finch Hattons luxury tented camp in Kenya was designed with a focus on sustainability.

The Finch Hattons luxury eco tented camp has reopened after extensive refurbishment.

The camp features 17 new tented suites, a pool, spa, conference facilities, a stargazing terrace and a yoga deck with views over the Chyulu Hills.

Finch Hattons is 300km from Nairobi in the heart of the Tsavo West National Park, home to over 500 species of birds and a wide variety of wildlife.

Leena Gehlot, one of the Finch Hattons Directors, says: “It is a multimillion-dollar investment, confirming our faith and confidence in the Kenyan tourism industry.” 

South African lodge architect, Francois Theron, has designed the new lodge with a focus on sustainability.

Finch Hattons was named Africa’s Leading Safari Lodge in 2014 by the World Travel Awards and is a member of The Mantis Collection.
