Mabula hosts 200 learners on first safari

Mabula Game Lodge in Limpopo recently hosted 200 primary school learners for their very first safari in Africa’s wilderness.

The learners from Spa Park Primary School were greeted with song and dance at the lodge’s reception before going on a game drive with an expert field guide. They also had a session with Mabula’s anti-poaching unit, enjoyed interactive talks on endangered species and gained behind-the-scenes insights into the lodge’s kitchens and daily operations.

Mabula’s Youth Team, a group of employees under 35, organised “Big Five” teams to ensure every child enjoyed a safe and comfortable experience.

“This wasn’t just an outing but a chance to plant seeds of curiosity, conservation and pride in our heritage,” said Maralize Mulder, Marketing Manager at Extraordinary.
