AFTER three and a half years as Cape Regional Director of Sun International - during which time he opened and successfully ran the Table Bay Hotel at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town - Jean V Mestriner has taken up the position as managing director of the Charles Hotel in Boston, US.
His move, he says, is in line with his philosophy of successfully completing a task and moving on, a philosophy that has seen him rise from heading the dishwashing department of the Intercontinental Hotel in Dusseldorf to a position as one of the world's leading hoteliers.
