With the ongoing challenges of available accommodation in key areas in Namibia, Live the Journey has come up with a solution. The Live the Journey Namibia team, using Walvis Bay as its base station, can assist with mobile tented accommodation in locations that allow easy access to key attractions such as Sossusvlei and Twyfelfontein, to name just two.
The units are comfortable walk-in tents equipped with one or two single beds, with comfortable bedding, bedside table, plug points, towels and amenities. The rooftop extends to offer a shaded veranda with camp chairs to enjoy sunrises or sunsets from the privacy of the guests’ tent.
Live the Journey’s crew ensure that tents are set up and ready for guests’ arrival. For individual travellers, meals may be enjoyed at an additional charge at nearby lodges and restaurants. Groups may also choose to enjoy their meals at nearby lodges, or have catering done under African skies inside the camp.

In due course, accommodation will be provided for up to 100 guests in 50 tents. Base rates are offered, with shared ablution facilities, but an option to have partial en-suite facilities for extra comfort will also be available.
Tariffs are extremely affordable. Being an inbound tour operator, Live the Journey realises the challenges, and therefore offers a solution comparable to hotel tariffs.
