Nomad documents the Great Migration

Nomad Tanzania has released a short documentary, The Map Makers of the Serengeti, on the guides and staff of its mobile camp, Serengeti Safari Camp, during the Great Wildebeest Migration.

It is the first in a series of films being released by the Nomad Film Unit, Nomad Tanzania’s internal documentary team. The series will document the people, places and projects that make up Nomad’s operations.

The film follows Ally Kea, an experienced guide, as he takes his guests out to the plains to watch the river crossing and the movement of the herds. It highlights the work of the professionals who move camp with the migration from tracking the wildebeest and monitoring their movements to organising supplies and setting up and dismantling camp.
