Nomad Tanzania announces new Serengeti camp

Nomad Tanzania will open Kusini Serengeti in mid-December – a new bush camp located among granite kopjes in the remote southwest of the Serengeti, Tanzania.

The camp will be built on the former A&K site and will feature six canvas tents alongside a mess area positioned on a live-on kopje with views across woodlands and plains.

From December to March, the bush camp will provide access to the migration during the calving season with herds often found in the surrounding woodlands. Between April and November, the focus shifts to resident wildlife including leopard, elephant and other species inhabiting the kopjes and woodlands.

The camp is designed to operate year-round and will connect with other Nomad properties such as Lamai. Activities will include guided walks, sundowners, cookouts and fly-camping.
