There have been alleged incidents of travellers experiencing harassment from taxi ‘helpers’ outside South Africa’s international airports.
These individuals allegedly take luggage and load it into taxis without the consent of the passenger in an attempt to ensure business. This has raised concerns about the security at the airports.
