Proflight Zambia is set to launch flights to Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, from March 3 next year. The route will operate three times weekly, linking Lusaka and Livingstone to Windhoek.
Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Lusaka to Windhoek flight will include a 30-minute stopover in Livingstone with passengers remaining on board. The Livingstone to Windhoek flight will run as a direct service.
Flight schedule:
- Lusaka to Windhoek: 08h30-11h35
- Livingstone to Windhoek: 09h55-11h35
- Windhoek to Livingstone: 12h20-13h55
- Windhoek to Lusaka: 12h20-15h20
The schedule allows morning connections from Ndola to Windhoek and evening connections from Windhoek to Ndola, Solwezi and Mfuwe.
Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations, Josias Walubita, says: “Not only does this route bring together two iconic destinations, such as the Victoria Falls and the Namib Desert, but it also strengthens the aviation bridge across Southern Africa and it builds on Proflight’s commitment to unlocking Zambia’s potential as a tourism and trade hub.”
