#RevivalShowcase: Hideaways in Zimbabwe and Botswana

Hideaways was built on the foundations of life-changing experiences, for travellers, communities, and conservation areas alike. Our properties all invest in and support programmes and areas unique to their location, allowing each to embody its own character within our portfolio, as well as resulting in a holistic safari experience when guests travel to all four lodges. Our experiences have been created with intention to leave an impact, beneficial for all.

From community engagement at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange to walking safaris at Nantwich Lodge, an immersive safari is a sensory explosion. From riding the roads to riding the wind, we encourage guests to suspend their usual ideas of a safari, spending time in the wild in a more connected state of mind. Camp Kuzuma, Botswana has a similar approach, however, ascending from earth to air. Surrounded by silence and the vast expanse below, disconnected from the world, but at one with the elements. Submerged in nature, senses heightened in awareness, a night safari at Mogotlho in the Greater Khwai area is the epitome of intimacy – truly connecting with nature.

Spending time amidst the elements sharing Hideaways’ life-changing experiences will leave the trails and stories of each encounter poetically inscribed in memory.
