South African Tourism made its presence known at London’s train stations on February 24-25 and March 1-2, highlighting the value for money South Africa offers UK holidaymakers.
A giant vending machine was placed at the stations and quizzed players on what they thought was the cost of experiences and products available in South Africa, providing multiple-choice answers. All participants won a prize, regardless of whether or not they guessed the answer correctly and were automatically entered into the draw to win a flight for two people to South Africa, courtesy of SAA.
“South Africa is an exciting, fun destination and so affordable. We’re investing in this campaign to demonstrate just how much further your money goes when on holiday in the country – you really are more valued in South Africa,” remarked UK Country Manager for South African Tourism, Tolene van der Merwe.
