A new era of travel convenience has landed in Zululand. Isibindi Africa Lodges is proud to announce the launch of daily shuttle flights connecting Virginia Airport in Durban as well as Richards Bay Airport with several of Zululand’s most iconic wilderness destinations, including Thonga Beach Lodge, Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, and beyond.
These scenic air transfers, operated by Legend Aviation, offer more than just efficient travel, they provide an immersive aerial safari. Guests will glide over the shimmering waters of Lake St Lucia, spot pods of hippos and crocodiles, catch glimpses of game moving through the bush, and, if lucky, watch dolphins or seasonal whales dancing along the Indian Ocean. The journey becomes part of the destination.
Flights depart from the Virginia Airport, with approximate departure and arrival times offering convenient access for both local and international travellers. Flights last just over one hour and while the focus is on the daily shuttle service, private charters are also available outside of shuttle times on a quote basis.
