Besides reduced pollution and fewer car accidents, the COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on travel may offer an opportunity to make some much-needed (and politically difficult) changes to tourism policy that will help manage overtourism, says travel writer turned tourism adviser, Doug Lansky.
