THE Franschhoek Wine Valley is hosting ‘Franschhoek uncorked’ on August 30 and 31.
The event is held on farms throughout the valley and showcases Franschhoek’s wineries, their new vintages and releases.
Cellar and vineyard tours, barrel-tasting, food and wine pairings, wine tasting, motor exhibitions, art exhibitions, flower-bulb markets, jazz and blues bands, live music, Franschhoek motor museum and children’s activities will be available.
Access cards, which permit free wine tasting, cost R60.
A shuttle service is available.
