Delegates attending this year’s edition of We Are Africa raised R466 125 (€22 327) in support of local community partner Uthando (Love), continuing a longstanding annual tradition.
The funds will be distributed across 16 community-based projects in six key areas:
- Food security
- Education
- Shelter
- Arts and culture
- Health and safety
- Animal welfare
“On behalf of the Uthando Social Development Projects family, I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the ongoing support from the We Are Africa tribe who have donated to our social development projects every year since 2016,” said James Fernie, Founder of Uthando (Love).
