Adventure Zone has opted not to renew its lease for Adventure Lodge, which came to an end at the end of January. As such, with effect from February 1, the property in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, reverted to Encore Budget Hotel and is managed by the owner of the property.
Adventure Zone signed a lease on the 70-bedroom property in 2011.

Brent Williamson, Owner of Adventure Zone, said the decision followed renewal conditions not being acceptable. Adventure Zone will continue with its activity portfolio and the tour operating side of the business.
Tourism Update was unable to establish contact with the property owner.
