The Lux Collective has signed a hotel management agreement for its second safari project, LUX Xinii Victoria Falls, scheduled to open in 2028.
Located on the Zimbabwe side of the falls, the property will initially comprise 12 suites. Another 14 will be added at a later stage.
Facilities will include two restaurants, swimming pools, a spa and wellness facilities.
The Lux Collective says the property will provide an “ultra-luxurious safari and wellness experience”.
In early 2025, the group signed another hotel agreement for LUX Xinii Mababe, in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027.
The Lux Collective’s CEO, Olivier Chavy, said the group is also looking towards the Serengeti for further development in East Africa, complementing LUX Marijani in Zanzibar.
“When we offer Botswana, Victoria Falls, the Serengeti and other projects currently under negotiation, we will have an incredible premium portfolio,” Chavy told French publication Journal des Palaces.
