Appeal to help tourism sector recover faster

SA Tourism CEO, Sisa Ntshona, and CEO of the TBCSA, Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa, have called for submissions from the tourism sector to request domestic tourism to be moved from Level 2 to Level 3 of the COVID-19 framework of the risk-adjusted strategy.

The sector needs to collaborate to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 risk by implementing health and safety protocols approved by the government.

All tourism stakeholders are invited to submit ideas to the TBCSA, which will co-ordinate the response into a document to be presented to the government for discussion.

The link for submissions is https://pages.services/tourismrecovery.co.za/recovery-survey. The link can also be accessed on the SA Tourism website and the TBCSA website. The closing date for submissions is May 14.
