Asilia will open two new properties in southern Tanzania this year, Roho ya Selous in the Selous Game Reserve, and Jabali Ridge in Ruaha National Park. Both projects are a joint venture between Asilia and British businessman, Jim Ratcliffe.
Roho ya Selous will open in August and comprise eight tents. It is close to a waterway that links Lake Manze to Lake Nzerakera, to provide an ideal game-viewing area.
Activities include guided walking safaris, game drives, catch‐and‐release fishing and boating safaris.
Jabali Ridge, which opens in September, will have eight tents. The main area, rim-flow infinity pool and gin bar offer views of the park below. Additional facilities also include a library and spa.
“These new properties in southern Tanzania will not only allow us to take guests to an entirely new region of the country but also let us have a meaningful impact on the conservation agenda in these two key wilderness areas,” said Jeroen Harderwijk, Co‐founder and Managing Director of Asilia.
