The tourism industry is expecting mid-market and budget offerings to play a major role in driving the growth of the hospitality sector.
In response to our latest poll asking readers to select which accommodation sub-sector would lead the growth of the industry in the next five years, 34% of respondents chose B&Bs and guesthouses, with a further 29% choosing mid-market/budget hotels.
Aparthotels were selected by 20% of respondents, followed by luxury hotels (10%) and lodges (8%).
