The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), in partnership with Leisure Hotel Holding (Pty) Ltd, has announced the signing of the first new Holiday Inn in Cape Town in recent years.
Currently operating as the Strand Tower Hotel, the property will rebrand as a Holiday Inn later this year.
The 242-room hotel is located in Cape Town’s CBD. Holiday Inn Cape Town will provide easy access to tourist attractions, such as Lions Head, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront.
The hotel will serve all-day dining with buffet-style meals and various wines from nearby wine estates, and is equipped with a gym, steam room and sauna. There are two large conference rooms, as well as four break-away rooms.
