The City of Cape Town is extending the St James coastal walkway as part of the phased extension plan from Muizenberg, through St James, towards Clovelly Corner.
Extension of the popular walkway, which will improve public access to the coastline, is possible through a donation from an anonymous Cape Town family.
According to the City of Cape Town, an initial environmental impact assessment will invite public participation.
