Chapman’s Peak Drive in Cape Town has been temporarily closed due to mudslides that occurred on Sunday night.
Engineers are working on the problem and aim to reopen the route by Friday.
Visitors should use Ou Kaapse Weg as an alternative.
Chapman’s Peak Drive is between Noordhoek and Hout Bay on the Atlantic Coast and is a 9km route with 114 curves, bordering the rocky 593m coastline.
