Dinaka Safari Lodge has been awarded its tourism operating license. Located on the northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, the lodge is set on 20 000ha of privately owned land.
The lodge currently has six en suite ‘Meru-style’ tents, with plans to introduce more in the future. The main lodge offers a splash pool, boma, bar, a shaded lounge area looking onto a water hole. A bird hide on stilts has also been incorporated which overlooks the watering hole and is popular with local wildlife and a resident male leopard.
Activities include 4x4 game drives, bush walks with bushman trackers, sleep-outs and night safaris.
Dinaka is just over two hours away from Maun by road (4x4’s needed), Dinaka offers land transfers and make use of a neighbouring lodges’ airstrip for air transfers.
