Liberia’s main borders have been reopened and the nationwide curfew, imposed after the Ebola outbreak, has been lifted. This follows a decrease in cases in the country.
Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s decision is based on the advice of the National Security Council of Liberia.
Members of Joint Security at the borders will still work closely with the health authorities to ensure adherence to the health protocols and safety at all times.
