Zanzibar will host the third edition of Essence of Africa at Diamonds Bijoux from October 20-22 following the forum’s second edition on the Kenyan coast in 2025.
The move follows growing international interest in the island, which recorded a 10% increase in international tourist arrivals in December 2025. Zanzibar’s location close to major safari circuits and adventure hubs allows buyers to assess how island, safari and other experiences can be combined into multi-stop itineraries.

The 2026 edition builds on the 2025 Malindi forum where 158 international buyers from 39 countries met with 150 African exhibitors in more than 5 600 pre-scheduled meetings.
The event, curated by On Show Solutions and ATTA Group Events, facilitates commercially focused connections between buyers and African tourism suppliers, supported by destination experiences and content sessions.
