Four Seasons opens resort in Mauritius

FOUR Seasons Hotels and Resorts recently opened the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita.

The resort borders one of Mauritius’ largest lagoons and occupies its own stretch of coastline, extending to encompass a private island, Ile aux Chats.

The single-storey pool and residence villas feature outdoor living spaces that include al fresco showers, verandahs, plunge pools and private gardens.

The property features three sand beaches, four swimming pools, a fitness centre, a spa, and a boathouse and diving centre. There are also four restaurants and a lounge bar, serving Southern French, Italian, Pan-Asian, and international cuisine.

Also featured on the property are the family-orientated Teen’s Club and Kids’ Club Village and an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ernie Els.

“Many people are familiar with Mauritius as a beach destination,” explains general manager Andrew Harrison, “but Four Seasons is keen to introduce guests to the many ways to appreciate the island beyond its shoreline by interacting with its natural offerings, whether that’s through sporting activities, adventure, discovery or relaxation.”
