Jenman African Safaris will launch a 12-day guided group safari and cycling itinerary in Botswana through to Zimbabwe in 2020.
The itinerary includes:
Day one: Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana
Upon arrival in Limpopo Valley Airfield, guests will be met by a Mashatu Representative and transferred to the lodge, where guests may spend the afternoon at their leisure.
Day two and three: Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana
After breakfasts guests will start their cycling safari before stopping for evening sundowners in the bush. The next day, guests embark on a game drive in an open safari vehicle before an evening dinner in a traditional boma.
Day four: Maun, Botswana
Guests will board their flight from Mashatu Game Reserve to Maun Airport. After arriving in Maun they will be transfered to Thamalakane River Lodge for an afternoon of leisure.
Day 5: Greater Moremi, Botswana
After breakfast guests will be picked up by a local Botswana guide for a short drive to where they will embark on Mokoros (traditional dugout canoes) to explore the rich ecosystem, birds and wildlife of the Okavango Delta.
Day 6: Greater Moremi, Botswana
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Greater Moremi area while staying at the Bedouin Bush Camp.
Day 7: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana
Guests will spend the day in the Moreni Game reserve where they can enjoy the abundance of wildlife in the region.
Day 8: Chobe National Park, Botswana
Guests will transit through the national parks of Moremi, Savute and Chobe on their way to Kasane where they will stay at the Chobe Safari Lodge.
Day 9: Chobe National Park, Botswana
There will be an early morning game drive in the Chobe National Park. In the afternoon water-based game viewing on a boat cruise along the Chobe River is available.
Day 10: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Guests will drive to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. In the afternoon they will observe the Falls on a guided walk. In the evening they will travel the Zambezi River on a sunset cruise where they will stay at the A’Zambezi River Lodge
Day 11: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Day at leisure with all the optional activities available to fully discover Victoria Falls, while staying at the A’Zambezi River Lodge.
Day 12: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
After breakfast the tour ends and guests will be transferred to the airport.
