Jock Safari Lodge, which comprises Main Jock and Fitzpatrick’s at Jock, situated in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, is currently undergoing a refurbishment.

Main Jock will be completed by July 10, while Fitzpatrick’s at Jock will close in September and reopen in November.
Guests can expect a fresh new look at both lodges, with the Victoria ball and claw bathtubs moved onto the deck, offering outdoor showers and baths. In addition, double showers will be fitted in the internal bathrooms.

The dining area will receive stacking glass doors and a pergola roof structure, in order to welcome the outdoors in. The upstairs bar will be redesigned and offer a fire pit where guests can relax pre or post dinner.
The new riverbed dining experience will be introduced, and will take place every third alternative evening. However, this dining experience will be big-game and weather dependent.

The day salas on the suite decks will be enclosed to offer an exclusive sleep-out experience where guests can take advantage of the views of the South African night sky.

Effective immediately, Jock Safari Lodge will now include a selection of house beverages during guests’ stay, without any changes to the rates. Furthermore, rates are inclusive of two game drives per day, guided wilderness walks, all meals, high tea, a selection of house beverages, VAT and tourism levy.
A selection of beverages will still be available for those guests who wish to purchase ‘top shelf’ items.
