LE Méridien’s reservations, distribution, loyalty and sales functions have been fully integrated into Starwood’s infrastructure and sales and marketing systems. As part of the process, Le Méridien’s loyalty programme, Moments, will no longer exist. Instead, Le Méridien hotels will join Starwood Preferred Guest, giving guests access to about 950 hotels worldwide. “Completing these initial integrations, particularly the merging of the websites and loyalty programmes, represents a key milestone in our transition, which we expect to be fully complete within six months,” says Michael Wale, senior vp of Le Méridien Operations.
