Low bookings over Easter weekend

Over the Easter weekend, many businesses expected to see low levels of bookings, according to Tourism Update’s latest informal poll.

A total of 43% of respondents said they were expecting to see booking levels of less than 40%. Equal proportions of respondents (20%) expected levels of between 40% and 59%, and 60% and 79% respectively. Only 16% of those taking part in the poll expected a booking percentage of over 80%.
