China’s newest bungee jump will soon become the highest in the world. The jump will be launched at the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in August. This is the highest glass-bottom bridge in the world, and is soon to be home to a 260-metre-high bungee jump platform.
Joe Chen, Deputy General Manager of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Tourism Management, says: “Thanks to the glass bottom, visitors on the bridge can look down and see someone bungee jumping.”
A bungee-themed bar and restaurant at the end of the bridge will also allow spectators to order bungee-themed drinks while watching those brave enough leap off the bridge.
