New look for Cape Town hotel

Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges has completed the refurbishment of Old Bank Hotel in central Cape Town. The building retains it classic Victorian architectural style with expanded contemporary spaces.

The expansion includes:

  • 22 new rooms
  • Ground floor foyer and lounge area
  • Modern conferencing facilities
  • Fitness centre
  • Splash pool on the rooftop restaurant’s terrace
As part of the tasteful refurbishment, the hotel has introduced 22 new rooms.
The rooftop restaurant’s terrace now includes a splash pool.

Situated in Cape Town’s city centre, the hotel’s revamp is positioned as Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges’ response to South Africa’s evolving travel demands. Solo travellers, couples and business guests alike are seeking accommodation that balances modern convenience, safety and lifestyle within a premium, well-appointed four-star setting,” said Vincent Bouwer, Chief Revenue Officer of Lion Roars.

The signature feature of the property remains the eighth-floor rooftop 1902 Bistro and B&F Bar offering elevated city views.

1902 Bistro offers some local favourites including Chantelle’s malva pudding.
