Constitution Hill has launched a new website, offering detailed practical information, content and imagery, as well as a virtual representation of what guests will experience at Constitution Hill.
The Constitution Hill website also provides information on Constitution Hill’s journey from a site of incarceration and oppression in Johannesburg’s early days and during apartheid, to a place of justice and the preservation of human rights after the dawn of democracy in South Africa.
The website’s ‘read mores’ gives access to a library of information on the precinct. Website Visitors can virtually explore each of the five museums – the Old Fort, the Women’s Jail, the old Number Four prison, the Awaiting Trial Block and the Constitutional Court.
