City Sightseeing South Africa is set to launch its Hermanus Explorer Tour on July 2, offering travellers a guided day trip from Cape Town to the Western Cape’s premier whale watching destination.
The full-day experience includes return transport from Cape Town, a guided coastal tour and free time to explore the Hermanus cliff paths and local attractions.
Travellers can also opt for a wine tasting at a local winery or book a whale watching cruise for a closer view of southern right whales.
The tour will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until the end of November. Whale sightings generally increase throughout the winter months with peak viewing usually between August and October.
