Seychelles Tourism elects CEO
Seychelles has named Vesna Rakić as Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) from May 15.
The announcement follows the reinstatement of the STB, which was dissolved in 2021. The move comes after the National Assembly approved the Seychelles Tourism Board Bill 2026 in March. The Board is tasked with marketing and promoting the country, supporting product diversification, enhancing visitor experiences and building partnerships with local and international stakeholders.
Rakić holds a BA (honours) in business administration (marketing) from London South Bank University. She has more than 30 years of experience in the tourism industry.
She was previously a Director and Senior Consultant at Sales & Marketing Seychelles, Head of Sales and Marketing at Bookseychelles, Market Development Manager at Creole Holidays as well as Marketing Manager at Travel Services Seychelles.
