Francois Liebenberg has been appointed Sales Manager at Private Safaris Southern Africa, effective January 16, 2017.
Liebenberg returns to South Africa, having spent the past two years as the director of sales and marketing for a luxury hotel in Zanzibar. He has 15 years’ experience in the travel and hospitality industry, working with a number of tourism operations.

Tsogo Sun has appointed Louise Otto as new Deputy GM of Cabanas Resort. Michelle Bregger takes up Otto’s former position as the Deputy GM of Garden Court Marine Parade. Previously, Bregger was the deputy gm of Southern Sun River Sun.
The Petousis Group has appointed Nina Daniels as GM of its Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch. She has been a part of the group for many years as HR Manager. “Nina is a committed, loyal member of our team. Her HR qualifications and experience are a real asset,” says Lex Petousis, CEO of the Petousis family of hotels.
The Activity Centre based at the Victoria Falls Waterfront in Livingstone has welcomed new members to the team. Brenda Chansa has moved to the main activity office to join the team of consultants with sales and bookings. Chansa will continue to do work for G Adventures. Timothy Chikumbi joins Safpar's Activity Department as a consultant and reservationist. Amy Lea will be heading up the Hospitality, Food and Beverage departments.
Anuj Ovaleker has been appointed Chef de Cuisine at aha’s David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa.
Veronica Canha-Hibbert has been appointed Executive Chef of The Silo Hotel.
