This week’s picture was submitted by reader, Andrea Adelbert, who caught this leopard tortoise munching on succulents in her garden in the Bavianskloof Mega Reserve.
The leopard tortoise is the fourth-largest species of tortoise in the world, with the average adult weighing in at about 13kg said Adelbert.
