FOR the first time in South Africa, Wi-Fi hotspots are now available on bus coaches.
Springbok Atlas is running a pilot project with iSpot whereby three of their new luxury coach units in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town have been fitted with Wi-Fi hotspots.
Over the next month, interested passengers will be issued with scratch access vouchers, limited to one hour or 30Mbs Internet access, for free.
If the pilot project proves successful, the service will be extended to Springbok’s entire luxury fleet of 40- and 44-seater vehicles. Other vehicles will only be equipped on special request.
