The TBCSA has urged all members and businesses operating in the broader travel and tourism industry to participate in the quarterly TBCSA FNB Tourism Business Index (TBI) survey.
The TBI is an initiative of the TBCSA, sponsored by First National Bank and compiled by Grant Thornton. The aim is to provide individual tourism businesses with regular, up-to-date information on the performance of the industry, including an indicator of performance outlook in the next three months. This information is designed to help businesses to understand the tourism operating environment better, and thus be better prepared for the likely future tourism environment.
Surveys for the last quarter of 2012 will be distributed to tourism businesses on December 20. The deadline for submission is Monday, January 7.
