The Glass Lounge at The Cape Milner Hotel in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town, and its sister restaurant, 2 on Milner, recently received a facelift, streamlining and updating the spaces’ look and feel.
The upgraded areas of The Cape Milner Hotel, which combines Cape Victorian heritage with urban African design, has added to guests’ experience, with a fresh and modern feel.
Upholstery, carpets, rugs, and cushions, as well as light fittings in both The Glass Lounge and 2 on Milner have been updated, resulting in a different ambience with more colour in the dining-come-bistro restaurant, and a more pared back, sophisticated feel in The Glass Lounge.
Natasha Powell, GM of the hotel, says the update brings the spaces right up to date with the stylish, contemporary look of the rest of the hotel. “Both The Glass Lounge and 2 on Milner are such energetic, light-filled spaces. These changes have really added an up-to-date refinement that is urban, modern, fun and warm.”
