The plains around Mara Plains, Mara Expedition and Mara Nyika in Kenya are currently alive with the zebra migration – from the northeast (Loita Hills) across the Ripoi and Siana areas.
The zebras’ long, barking calls are unique to each as the clans try to reunite in the chaos of a migration.
For that reason, today's video of the week starts without music – in celebration of those calls that now echo across the hills and through the river valleys of Kenya's Maasai Mara.
