Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg has launched its limited edition Jacaranda Afternoon Tea celebrating the city’s jacaranda bloom with a menu inspired by the season’s colours and textures.
Crafted by Pastry Chef Nathan Jacobs, the new afternoon tea blends traditional elements with contemporary touches.
Menu highlights include hazelnut and blackberry financier, black forest opera, citrus and blueberry tart, cassis and white chocolate vacherin and a selection of savoury items such as smoked salmon and guacamole sliders, chicken coronation tartlets and beef short rib amagwinya.
The hotel provides views across the city’s purple canopy during jacaranda season, offering guests an ideal setting for afternoon tea.
The Jacaranda High Tea will be available from October through November 2025, Friday to Sunday, with reservations required.
