THETA published an invitation for learnership grants in 2010 in the Sunday Times this week. The deadline for applications is January 19.
Only employers may apply for these learnership grants, whereas in previous years training providers were also able to apply for learnerships.
The invitation in the Sunday Times refers readers to the THETA website, but the new information is not yet published there says Don Leffler, director: THSBS.
However, he says similar terms and application forms to those that applied in previous years are accessible from the THETA website. When applying for learnerships, an employer must include an agreement with an accredited training provider.
