Uncharted Africa to manage Mapula Lodge

The lodge will open in April with nine canvas and thatch tents, including one family tent

Mapula Lodge in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta is undergoing a full revamp with Uncharted Africa (marketed by Natural Selection) taking over the lodge management.

The lodge will open in April with nine canvas and thatch tents, including one family tent. The newly upgraded main area will feature a relaxation area, a small library, dining area and a swimming pool. In front of the mess tent is a ‘chill pit’, a sunken area with views of the lagoon and from where guests can see the night sky. Activities on offer will include game drives, mokoros and boat safaris.

Rates start at US$560 per person per night.
