Expedia is offering travel agents Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Programme) – an online booking platform specifically geared toward travel agents, which allows them to earn commission when booking through Expedia.com.
Expedia TAAP, which is represented in South Africa by travel services distribution company Discover the World, offers agents an impressive range of inventory, deals at competitive prices and choice and flexibility of travel products.
“Every agent should have Expedia TAAP at their disposal. It offers access to thousands of hotels and hundreds of airlines as well as car-rental companies and attractions,” Yvonne Skerritt, Sales Manager at Discover the World, said at a workshop held at the Tintswalo Hotel Waterfall City, on October 7.
Skerritt mentioned that many travel agents were still unaware of Expedia TAAP. “Agents could benefit greatly from having TAAP as a booking resource. It is easy to use and has proved to be successful for many agents around the world.”
Expedia TAAP offers standard commissions of 10% for special rate hotel bookings, and gives agents the opportunity to earn more commission as they progress with sales.
To log in and become a member, agents are required to visit the Expedia TAAP website and register.
