Airlink and Air Austral sign bilateral agreement

Airlink and Air Austral have signed a bilateral Special Prorate Agreement, which came into effect on October 15.

Under the agreement, Air Austral passengers will have access to Airlink’s network of 45 destinations across Southern Africa region. Access to destinations such as Cape Town, Durban, Windhoek, Gaborone, Lusaka and Victoria Falls will be offered through connections via Johannesburg its Réunion–Johannesburg flights.

Airlink also offers passengers access to Air Austral’s network of Indian Ocean destinations through connections via Réunion served by its Johannesburg-Réunion flights. These destinations include Mauritius, Mayotte, the Comoros Islands and the Seychelles.

The agreement allows for bookings across the airlines’ networks with the convenience of a single ticket, through-check-in and baggage checked through to its final destination.
