Wesgro has opened applications for its leisure tourism event partnerships, inviting event organisers across Cape Town and the Western Cape to apply from April 20 to May 4.
The programme focuses on events in small towns, townships and “dorpies” with the aim of supporting inclusive and sustainable tourism growth, promoting local destinations and creating opportunities for SMMEs and job creation.
Priority will be given to events aligned with key themes, including culture and heritage, township and community tourism, active adventure, sustainability, gastronomy and halal tourism.
Applications must be submitted via Wesgro’s online platform. Details are available on the application portal.
