South African tour operator The Eco-Travel Boutique is launching Safari Sisters: a new women-only travel brand offering nine small group departures across six African countries in 2027.
Designed for groups of four to 12 women, the journeys will combine wildlife and wilderness, culture, food, wine and authentic local experiences with emphasis on meaningful connection and shared adventure.
Safari Sisters will aim to create a relaxed environment where women can travel, connect and experience Africa together while using tourism as an opportunity to support and showcase women working across the region. Wherever possible, the brand aims to work with female guides, hosts, entrepreneurs and other women whose work contributes to the tourism industry, local communities and the environment.
A key focus of the tours will be creating a positive local impact in the destinations visited. The journeys have been designed to support local businesses, female guides and hosts as well as conservation and community initiatives. The Eco-Travel Boutique aims to work with partners who share its values and contribute positively to the local communities, environments and economies where it operates.

The 2027 collection will include journeys across Southern Africa. Each itinerary has been designed on a small scale with locally rooted experiences at its core.
Safari Sisters has also introduced dedicated agent rates across the collection and is inviting registered tour operators and travel advisers to offer the journeys to clients seeking a more personal, small-scale and responsible way to experience Africa.
