Extraordinary has added the Mont d’Or Hotel Group to its South African collection.
The group has properties in Bloemfontein Pretoria, Clarens, Prince Albert and Franschhoek. Extraordinary will handle reservations, marketing and sales for the properties as well as contracting. The properties are independently owned and will not be managed by Extraordinary.
The four-star Monte Bello Estate outside Bloemfontein offers conference and meeting venues, and has two chapels and reception halls to handle weddings of up to 600 guests. There is a honeymoon suite and accommodation for 60 guests, which includes family rooms. The estate also has spa facilities.
Mont d’Or Bohemian House is a 5 star property in Waterkloof Ridge, Pretoria. It has 10 rooms, two of which have king sized beds, and eight have queen long beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, however 3 of the rooms are equipped with a shower and a bath, while the remaining 7 only have a shower. Facilities include a day spa, a meeting venue suitable for smaller conferences, a pool area and a dining room.
Mont d’Or Swartberg Hotel is in Prince Albert, in the Western Cape, 40 minutes from Oudtshoorn. The hotel can accommodate 42 guests with standard room and luxury suite options, as well as Rondavel and self-catering chalets. 30 people can be seated in the property’s cinema-style conferencing venue.
Mont d’Or Clarens, is a 4 star property in the Eastern Freestate, near the Maluti Mountain range. The hotel comes with a range of conferencing options: the conference venue can seat 80 people cinema style, 60 people banqueting style, or 40-50 people in a double U-shape. Other options include a spa, and during winter, skiing packages are available that include a shuttle service to and from Afriski, in the Lesotho mountains.
Mont d’Or Franschhoek, a guesthouse and B&B in the Cape Winelands, is an hour’s drive from Hermanus and Cape Town. There are eleven rooms, with loft and double room options, as well as a honeymoon suite. Spa facilities are available.
